Vertical Extraction Lifting Beam

Lifting of batteries vertically needs the use of a spreader lifting beam. CAPS have a number of designs for these as batteries often have two or four lifting holes and in some cases these are not central to the battery, alternatively CAPS offer an adjustable lifting frame, which is capable of lifting many types of batteries.

Lifting beams can be be used with fork lift trucks and cranes. All the lifting frames are load tested together with the wire ropes or chains supplied. These lifting beams are an ideal back up to transfer systems and for maintenance.
