Horizontal or lateral battery extraction by pulling & pushing batteries can be a Health & Safety issue and should be limited to very lightweight batteries even when moving on rollers. CAPS have developed a number of winch solutions to assist the operator both extracting and replacing batteries.

• The winch system mounted on a stand can be used behind beds and as a docking station for a truck.
• The winch mounted on a slide behind the roller beds can service a number of roller beds with one winch unit.
• The mobile winch unit can be used behind the roller beds and against the truck.

The winch units used in combinations limit the risk of injury.
